Job summary

St. Hilary School in Pico Rivera is seeking an energetic After-School Program Leader to support TK-8 students after the bell. You will supervise play, provide homework assistance, and plan engaging activities within a faith-centered, caring environment.

The role requires high energy, strong communication, patience, and a positive attitude. CPR and First Aid certifications are required or obtainable before start date.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or working with children in TK-8.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
• Fingerprinting and background check through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (or willing to complete the process before starting employment).

Key Responsibilities

Hours: Monday - Thursday (3:15 PM - 6:00 PM) | Friday (12:30 PM - 6:00 PM)

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience supervising or working with children in grades TK-8th.
• Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Clearances: Must be fingerprinted and background-checked through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (or willing to complete the process before starting employment).
• Skills: High energy, strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude.

Wage Range

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
