Child Development Schools is hiring an After School Lead Teacher for Virginia Beach to create a nurturing, discovery-driven classroom environment. You will guide children through engaging lessons, maintain safety and licensing compliance, and document each child’s progress while communicating with families.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with parents, teamwork with fellow teachers, and ongoing professional development in a supportive, child-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Background check is required.
• 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom.
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements.
• Observe and document each child's development and share progress with families regularly.
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and scheduled conferences.
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incident reports, and assessments.
