Job summary

All Things Science is seeking energetic instructors to lead after school STEM classes in Garden Grove. You will guide hands-on projects, encourage problem solving, and make science approachable and fun for students.

Responsibilities include delivering curriculum-based activities, maintaining a positive classroom, and promoting teamwork. This role typically starts in the early afternoon and may involve travel to partner sites in the Garden Grove area.

Qualifications

• Experience working with kids or in camps, classrooms, or tutoring.
• Willing to learn new teaching approaches.
• Reliable, adaptable, and eager to teach science.
• Interest in science, technology, or education.

• Promote curiosity, teamwork, and critical thinking
• Work weekday afternoons, usually starting near 1:00 PM
• Travel to partner school sites across the Garden Grove area

• Like working with kids and know how to keep them engaged
• Background in camps, classrooms, or tutoring is helpful, and we train new instructors
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new approaches
• Interest in science, technology, or education

Compensation

$45-$55 per hour
