Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience managing a team in a health or medical environment.
• Understanding of the emotional, social, and mental aspects of health and wellness.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural characteristics of populations served.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage all Healthy Harlem programs.
• Hire and manage staff for Healthy Harlem programs.
• Establish collaborations with community organizations and schools.

Skills

Experience working with youth and/or adolescent populations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of nutrition and wellness concepts

Ability to work both on a team and independently

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health or related field

Master’s degree preferred
