Franklin Public Schools Lifelong Learning Institute in Franklin, MA is seeking a Group Leader for the Solutions Extended Day program at Washington K-2 School. The role supports after-school operations from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on most days, with early-release days extended to 11:00 AM-6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Must be 18 and have a High School Diploma.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and school personnel.
• Basic computer knowledge (Google Apps a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and actively participate in program activities with students.
• Assist with daily attendance and resolve attendance discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with site staff to implement daily program components and activities.
• Assist to maintain accurate and up-to-date program records with the support of Program Directors.
• Assist in reviewing and updating educational materials and curriculum resources.
• Assist in developing and submitting monthly curriculum and lesson plans by designated due dates.
• Ensure all program areas remain clean, organized, and safe, including sweeping floors and sanitizing table surfaces.
