Job summary

AlphaBEST Education in Crandall is seeking a Group Leader to run after-school activities in a structured, high-energy environment from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

You will lead curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts), prioritize child safety, keep spaces tidy, and build strong relationships with teammates, families, and school staff. Minimum diploma and background check required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work 2:30 pm–6:30 pm, Mon–Fri, in a school setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Maintain child safety as the top priority and follow procedures closely.
• Keep the space clean, organized, and welcoming for all.

• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency
