Job summary

Adelante Schools in Indianapolis is seeking a Middle School Futsal Coach to lead practices and game day operations for our youth program. The role emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development while guiding student-athletes through drills and team play.

Qualifications

• Experience playing and/or coaching futsal or a similar sport.
• Ability to motivate, teach and recruit qualified student-athletes.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and keep composure.
• Familiarity with the school community is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, promote and conduct tryouts for the sport.
• Inform Athletic Coordinator of final selections and communicate cuts clearly.
• Coach during each game and develop training programs and practice schedules.
• Evaluate student-athletes and place them in positions to contribute to team success.
• Provide a safe environment conducive to learning and development.
