Job summary

Brockton Public Schools' BHS Athletics Department in Brockton, Massachusetts is seeking a dependable Middle School Football Equipment Manager to oversee cleaning, issuing, fitting and repair of equipment and uniforms for the program.

The role is up to 30 hours during football season, with after-school/evening shifts, requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and good communication with coaches and staff.

Responsibilities

• End of season laundering of football clothing according to fabric and care requirements.
• Monitor issuance of uniforms to team members individual and maintains accurate records and files regarding equipment check out.
• Track return of equipment at end of season and coordinate with coaches to ensure all equipment has been returned.
• Coordinate with vendors to collect and return football equipment that needs to be recertified and reconditioned.
• Coordinate and communicate with the Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Director in regard to ordering and purchasing football equipment.
• Assist coaches with fitting football equipment to individual athletes.
• Develop and maintain a system for a clean and organized equipment room.
• Store and pack football equipment appropriately when not in use in designated storage areas ensuring the safety of athletes and employees by maintaining appropriate clearances in storage rooms.
