Job summary

The Community Group’s Community Kids Place in Lawrence, MA is seeking an Enrichment Educator for part-time after-school and summer programs. You will design interdisciplinary, hands-on activities and provide homework help aligned with DESE guidelines.

Ideal candidates bring K1-8 teaching experience, knowledge of Massachusetts frameworks, and a passion for project-based learning while engaging students and families in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• K1-8 teaching experience and knowledge of Massachusetts frameworks is required.
• Background checks and fingerprint scan completed as per regulations.
• Maintain current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining an environment that supports the growth and development of children.
• Ensure the care, safety, and well-being of children in the group.
• Provide a program inclusive to all children and families regardless of lifestyle and belief system.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing trainings;
• Complete all required certifications; and
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
