Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking an After School Enrichment Specialist in Donna, TX to support priority students with academic help, enrichment activities, and college/career readiness. You will partner with campus principals and the After School Coordinator and work 2 to 2.5 hours after school each day.

The role requires current college enrollment or related certification, prior youth work, and the ability to track progress.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or up to 15 college hours, or a professional certification in the subject you will teach.
• Experience working with youth in a classroom/school setting (formal or informal).
• Must attach an official or unofficial transcript to verify GPA and credit hours earned.

Responsibilities

• Implement a clear, consistent behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Help shape a school-wide culture that fosters productive, enthusiastic learning.
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with students and families based on trust and respect.
• Provide enrichment and recreation leadership for program students.
