Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego (BGCGSD) seeks an enthusiastic ELOP Group Leader to support after-school programs in Valley Center. You will deliver virtual and in-person tutoring, lead engaging activities, and help youth develop academics, character and healthy habits.

Under supervision of the Site Lead, you’ll plan culturally relevant lessons, supervise groups of 10–20 youth, ensure safety, monitor attendance, and collaborate with staff and volunteers to provide a positive,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 48 college units or completion of CAPE; or combination of knowledge/experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working directly with school-aged youth; knowledge of youth development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead virtual and classroom instruction for after-school program.
• Plan and lead engaging activities to develop academics, physical and social skills.
