Position Details

Responsibilities:

  • Lead "Learn to Draw" classes for children ages 5-12 at local elementary schools, using Young Rembrandts’ curriculum.
  • Maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment, manage up to 20 students, and encourage positive behavior.
  • Communicate effectively, keep accurate records, and utilize technology for scheduling and communication.
  • Collaborate with other staff members and attend monthly training meetings.

Requirements:

  • Passion for teaching and working with children.
  • Experience with elementary-aged children.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in teaching methods.
  • Physical ability to handle supplies and stand during classes.
  • Comfort with using mobile phones, Google, and other applications.
  • Must be 18 or older and available during after-school hours (2-5 p.m.) at least 2-3 days per week, including Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
