Job summary

Lunch-Bunch is seeking a Level 1 Enrichment Teacher to lead and support culinary-based enrichment activities after school. You will collaborate with fellow teachers, prepare materials, and help students engage in hands-on cooking experiences that foster confidence and life skills.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-sufficient, and comfortable leading groups of children in a fast-paced classroom, with a willingness to provide feedback and grow as an educator.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting groups of children in instructional or enrichment settings.
• Ability to engage students in active, hands-on learning around cooking and culinary arts.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve classroom strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review lesson plans weekly in advance.
• Attend pre-semester teacher training sessions.
• Prepare classroom materials and food efficiently.
• Manage student behavior and classroom flow.
• Teach kitchen safety and basic cooking skills.
