Job summary

TGA Sports is seeking enthusiastic and responsible coaches to lead after-school golf, tennis, and pickleball sessions for K-6 students in the Novato area. You will work with small groups to develop motor skills, socialization, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, communicative, and enjoy working with children. Flexible to schedule, with after-school classes typically 1:30pm–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, at local schools and parks.

Qualifications

• Strong sports background and knowledge of multiple physical activities.
• Must have reliable transportation to school locations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents.
• Punctual and dependable for after-school classes.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Engage students with a fun, encouraging presence.
• Maintain equipment and class rosters.

Responsibilities

TGA runs the leading school-based youth sports enrichment programs for grades K-6. We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible sports coaches to impact the lives of the children we serve and introduce golf in a fun and playful way.

As a coach, you will work with small groups of children across various ages, developing their skills, physical literacy, and teamwork abilities. At YAU, we believe in using positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to help each child feel confident, regardless of their age or skill level. With over 20 years of experience, we have a best-in-class curriculum that is specific and progressive to every child's developmental needs.

As a coach, your role will be instrumental in the development of children's gross motor skills and socialization skills, making a positive impact on their lives.

This job is perfect for part-time workers, retirees, high school and college students, stayat-home parents, nanny, teachers, and anyone else with a flexible schedule who have a passion for sports, love working with young children, and wants to give back to their community! The ideal team member will have experience working in Tennis, Golf and/or Pickleball.

Schedules will vary but class times will typically fall between Monday-Friday: 1:30pm - 4:30pm (Varies by school).

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation as all programs are run at local schools and

• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with children and parents
• Must be punctual (classes are held after school in the afternoons and children are counting on you)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
