Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time Site Director for the Lincoln Elementary School program in Hillsboro, OR. The role leads a team of Guides delivering after-school activities in fitness, arts, technology, and more, at a dedicated program site.

You will collaborate with the Leadership Team to manage all site operations, train Guides, and foster a caring, family-oriented environment for staff, children, and parents. Bachelor’s degree and 21+ years old required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Must pass background check per Oregon licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fun, dedicated team of Guides delivering enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage all aspects of the program site.
• Train Guides on leading adventurous tasks that spark curiosity.
• Encourage clubs and activities that align with students' interests and talents.

SITE DIRECTOR (PART-TIME):

After-School Program Site Director

AlphaBEST believes in the power of wonder to connect students to a world of endless possibilities. We're looking for leaders like you to be the Captain of our team!

Location: Lincoln Elementary School; 801 NE Lincoln St, Hillsboro, OR 97124

Schedule: No Weekends! Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm -6:00 pm.

Pay & Benefits

• $22.00 - $25.00 (depending on qualifications/experience)

As an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
• Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment that fosters positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school at your program site.

Here's What You'll Need

• Must have a Bachelor's degree (in a related field) or equivalent experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by Oregon childcare licensing regulations (CBR #)
• Provide proof of experience as required by OR childcare licensing standards
