Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and engage groups of children effectively.
• Ability to maintain a calm, positive, and structured environment.
• Commitment to supporting the mission of Catholic education.
• Completion of required background checks and safe environment training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during before-school and/or after-school care programs.
• Ensure student safety at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assist with attendance, sign-in/sign-out procedures, and daily program routines.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce school rules with positive guidance.
• Lead or assist with games, homework time, crafts, quiet activities, and recreational activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe extended care environment.
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and administration as needed.
• Respond to student needs, minor injuries, or emergencies per procedures.
• Model Christian values and professional behavior in all interactions.
• Participate in prayer and faith-based activities as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school matters.
