After Care Program Instructor

Flex has openings for part-time Program Instructors this 24/25 school year in our aftercare programs at Creative Minds International Public Charter. The position is Monday through Friday during the school year - hours are 2:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. daily but may vary. Instructors MUST have a passion for “making a difference”.

The Program Instructor will:

• Work well with a variety of groups including fellow staff, school personnel, families, and children.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for our students.
• Lead instruction in the program using Flex-approved curriculum and other resources.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management techniques.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding behavior and daily activities.

Program Instructor Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Have a passion for education.
• Comfortable with technology (phone, laptop, etc).
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree.
• Must be able to meet and stay current on state-specific licensing requirements.
