Christian Heritage School Inc is seeking a compassionate Childcare Worker for the Kingsmen Kids after-school program in Trumbull, CT. This entry-level, part-time role focuses on supervising students, assisting with homework, and guiding age-appropriate activities.

The position offers a 2:00–5:30 p.m. schedule, Monday–Friday when school is in session, at a rate of $17.50 per hour. A background check is required, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 5–11 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children during activities, homework, free time, and outdoor play.
• Provide a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for all students.
• Follow program policies, health and safety guidelines, and emergency procedures.
• Provide age-appropriate and respectful discipline.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Help keep program areas clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Communicate regularly with the Program Director.
• Attend staff meetings and training as requested.
