Partnership with Children in Harlem, NY is seeking an After-School Activity Specialist to facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities after school. The role focuses on STEM, arts, sports, and other enrichment, delivering lesson plans, supervising children, and ensuring safety in a nurturing environment.
The position is part-time, 15–22.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6pm, in-person only, with a pay rate of $20–$25 per hour based on experience.
Partnership with Children provides critical counseling, school-wide services, and family and community outreach in high-poverty, New York City public schools so students can reach their full potential.
The Beacon Program at PS 194 is an after-school program dedicated to ensuring that every child has the cognitive, social, and emotional skills to be their authentic selves, to develop self-sufficiency, and to build the foundation for strong, supportive relationships. With a curriculum focused on academic enrichment, community, cultural enrichment, the arts, recreation, and character education, the Beacon Program at PS 194 will reinforce learning in a safe and healthy environment.
Title: After-School Program, Activity Specialist - (YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVITY YOU CAN TEACH)
Basic Function: Facilitate implementation of program activities for school-aged after-school program participants while creating a nurturing environment that fosters the creativity and educational advancement of the children.
$20-$25per hour - based on experience
