Job summary

Jobtailor in Shafter, CA is seeking an After School Program Supervisor to work with the After School Program Manager, teachers, and students to facilitate high-quality extracurricular activities and supervise scholars. You will oversee student safety, attendance, pickup, and support capacity building for K-8 students, including ELL considerations and Spanish language support.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of related experience, and a preference for an AA degree and Spanish

• Experience working with ELL students is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Experience working with large groups of children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Friday activity and lesson groups.
• Enforce school-wide expectations, the Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports framework, core principles, and health and wellness policy.

• Facilitate Friday activity and lesson groups

• Guide students in developing academic and social-emotional skills
• Support planning, student recruitment, and implementation of Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Camp Grow

• Perform other duties assigned by the After School Program Manager and Administrative Team

Requirements
