As a Web Development Teacher's Assistant at DevMountain, you will play a vital role in guiding students through their bootcamp learning experience. Working closely with individuals and teams, you will review, critique, and provide guidance on project work, ensuring students understand what they should be working on and achieve their project goals. As a support role to the Instructor, you will also assist in ensuring students understand concepts taught in the curriculum. You will guide project work and proactively assist students throughout their learning journey.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with your leader on curriculum content and instruction, bringing your unique skills and perspectives to the team
- Deliver engaging in-class exercises, lead project time, and participate in stimulating lecture discussions to create an immersive learning experience for students
- Provide meaningful and prompt feedback to students on their progress, working to ensure that students receive the support they need to continuously improve their skills
- Work with individual students to provide them with personalized attention and guidance on their projects, ensuring that they are mastering key concepts and best practices
- Participate in regular student reviews and critiques, providing constructive feedback to support their progress and success
- Inspire and motivate students as they navigate the challenges of learning a new skill set, empowering them to achieve their goals

Work Experience:
- Entry Level: This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is just entering the field and seeking to build a strong foundation for their career (6 months of experience in the field is preferred)
Education:
- Demonstrated proficiency in web development, whether through completion of a bootcamp, self-directed learning, or attainment of an equivalent degree.
Other:
- Part-time, remote position
- Cohort Schedule is T/Th 6:00-9:00PM, and alternating Saturdays 9AM-5PM
- Exceptional attendance and punctuality, recognizing the importance of these factors in creating a positive learning environment
