Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required.
• BSN in progress or within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum of four years of recent clinical experience.
• Demonstrates leadership competencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical and leadership functions after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Supervise staff in the delivery of care and act as a clinical resource.
• Assume Incident Command leadership until senior staff arrive, coordinate response to codes and rapid responses.
• Assess departments to maintain patient flow and continuity of care.
• Communicate unusual occurrences to management for follow-up and intervention.
