Qualifications

• Requires veterinary technician certification and degree; certification within 1 calendar year of hire.
• Ability to monitor and care for large animals during after-hours; strong clinical judgment and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hospitalized large animal patients during after-hours shifts.
• Evaluate patient condition and status; determine need for intervention or escalation.
• Administer medications and provide nursing care to critical patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treat documentation.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and anesthesia as assigned.
