Expectations of After-Hours Scheduler:

Opportunity for either of the roles below:

Weeknights:

Monday - Thursday, 5pm - 8am

Pay Rate: $500 Flat Rate

Weekends:

Friday 5pm - Monday 8am

Pay Rate: $1000 Flat Rate

This position is remote; however, candidates must reside within a 30-mile radius of Charlottesville.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Mastering the software “Wellsky” — the central system for all client and caregiver information. It is a robust system that requires some learning.
  2. Providing morning reports to schedulers and care managers about calls received via email, including a "hand-off" call with the daytime scheduler at 8:00 am on Monday.
  3. Communicating with clients and caregivers (via phone, email, and text) to ensure shifts are filled and feedback is collected (all hours).
  4. Handling emergent problems, such as last-minute caregiver call-outs due to life events, weather, or illness, requiring quick thinking and action to fill shifts.
  5. Exercising tact and patience when coaching caregivers and managing challenging client behaviors, especially with clients suffering from dementia or other illnesses.
  6. Collaborating closely with clinical and recruiting team members.
