Job summary

JHNA is seeking a Software Engineer/Architect specializing in Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) to support Army Aviation modernization at Fort Rucker, AL. You will work on transitioning legacy MS&A environments to the IDE, leveraging AFSIM for mission engineering tasks and experiments.

The role requires strong software development skills and experience with MOSA-compliant architectures, collaborating with Army engineers and capability developers in a challenging defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or OR-related technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Support Army Aviation modernization through development and integration of MS&A capabilities using AFSIM as part of an IDE.
• Assist Government engineers in transitioning legacy models to AFSIM-based architectures.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software/hardware components for mission-level simulations and aviation experiments.
• Develop MOSA-compliant software modules and reusable simulation components within AFSIM and other tools.
