Job summary

iQ Sig, through the Center for Special Operations Analysis, seeks a Data Analyst to support the Office of the Secretariat for Special Operations. You will build military models in AFSIM, script entity interactions, and develop scenarios that reflect actions, reactions, and adversary dynamics.

The role requires a BS in a technical field with 3+ years of analysis experience, TS-SCI eligibility, U.S. citizenship, and comfort with travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to customer requirements.
• Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical discipline with at least three years of related analysis experience.
• At least one year of hands-on experience with modeling and simulation tools for engagement and/or mission level studies.
• Experience using AFSIM to model systems, scenarios, and behavior scripting.
• Experience with Python, C++, or R.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

About the role

The Data Analyst will support the Office of the Secretariat for Special Operations providing operational and force structure analysis to support the office's special operations forces (SOF) organize, train and equip oversight responsibilities. You will work within the Center for Special Operations Analysis.

• Construct military models and entities of varying complexity in AFSIM.
• Provide dynamic scripting techniques to produce modeled entity actions/interactions in AFSIM.
• Create and enhance operationally relevant scenarios that accurately represent actions, reactions, and interactions between entities in the AFSIM simulation.
• Coordinate with team members to contribute to execution of analysis of studies, analyze AFSIM results, and prepare and present study findings.
• Collaborate with agile AFSIM software development teams to build and enhance Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) solutions.

• At least one year of hands-on experience with modeling and simulation tools for engagement and/or mission level studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Scripting and/or programming experience.
• Ability to work well in team environments.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
• Advanced degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical discipline.
• Experience using AFSIM to model systems, scenarios, and behavior scripting.
• Experience with any of the following: Python, C++, or R.

Benefits

• The pay range for this position is between $135,000 and $185,000 per year.
• This position is benefits-eligible.
