Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AFSIM Integration Analyst to deliver high‑fidelity mission‑level simulations that support Air Force programs and weapon system design.

You will translate requirements into AFSIM models, perform data post‑processing, and ensure DoD VV&A compliance, collaborating with engineers, SMEs, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in modeling and simulation or operations analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience with AFSIM, including mission‑level modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Experience in AFSIM scenario scripting and data post‑processing or analysis and associated toolsets such as HAL.
  • Experience with DoD Modeling & Simulation processes, including VV&A.
  • Ability to interpret and model operational concepts from government documentation and SMEs.
  • Top Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS.

In this role, you'll be a contributing key member of a multidisciplinary team providing essential modeling and simulation solutions, including platform assessments and mission effectiveness analysis.

  • Collaborate with functional teams of engineers, intel community, and stakeholders to translate operational requirements and program objectives into informed AFSIM models.
  • Perform post‑processing and visualization of AFSIM simulation datasets to derive actionable insights and support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Develop and execute complex AFSIM‑based platform performance and system‑of‑systems effectiveness.
  • Apply Verification, Validation, and Accreditation ( VV & A ) processes to ensure the credibility and reliability of AFSIM models and results.
  • Support documentation of models, scenarios, met hodologies, and findings to facilitate knowledge transfer and program oversight.
  • Stay current with AFSIM capabilities, DoD modeling and simulation best practices, and emerging operational concepts to deliver innovative analytical solutions.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in modeling and simulation or operations analysis

  • Experience in AFSIM scenario scripting and data post‑processing or analysis and asso cia ted toolsets such as HAL
  • Experience with DoD Modeling & Simulation ( M & S ) processes, including Verification, Validation, and Accreditation ( VV & A )
  • Ability to interpret and model operational concepts, threat laydowns, and system characteristics from government documentation and SMEs
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining focus on objectives defined by the client
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience in air, space, or multi‑domain operations, electronic warfare, or command and control modeling
  • Experience with technical briefings, reports, and presentations to stakeholders
  • Experience with Python or MATLAB for automation and visualization
  • Knowledge of military platforms, tactics, techniques, and procedures ( TTPs ) , CONOPS, and mission‑level concepts
  • Knowledge of air combat, ISR, electronic warfare, or electromagnetic spectrum operations
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
