RWS Group is seeking AI conversation recording contributors to collect spontaneous Afrikaans speech data for evaluating and developing AI technologies. This remote, freelance role offers flexible hours (2-4 hours daily) with a starting rate of 8 USD per hour.

Start date is immediate and work is done from home in Namibia/South Africa, with tasks including recording, annotation, and metadata provision. Applicants should be native Afrikaans speakers with strong English skills, and a keen eye for

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Afrikaans (South Africa).
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.
• Ability to follow detailed project and recording instructions.

Responsabilités

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech following project guidelines.
• Participate in real-life conversations or approved scenarios for data collection.
• Complete conversational speech tasks or interact with AI/machine-based systems.
• Annotate collected speech data per instructions.
• Provide required information and metadata for each recording.
