An established industry player is seeking an Afghan Community Peer Support Specialist to empower Afghan community members through financial wellness coaching and advocacy. This role involves collaborating with local organizations to provide essential services, training, and support. Afghan Community Peer Support Specialist Dari or Pashto, Missouri
Afghan Community Peer Support Specialists will provide financial wellness coaching, service connection, skills training, and advocacy to Afghan community members in partnership with social service partners, community-based organizations, local refugee resettlement agencies, and employment entities.
Important: Local Candidates Only
This position requires candidates who currently reside in the Kansas City, MO or St. Louis, MO metro areas. Applicants must also be fluent in Dari and/or Pashto to be considered.
Please note: Due to program requirements, we are unable to consider candidates outside of these areas at this time. Relocation assistance is not available.
This contract ends 9/30/2025.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Afghan Community Peer Support Specialist in Missouri: $60,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
