Multifamily Property Management

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Duties include but are not limited to: repairing flooring, drywall, appliances; troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, safety, security, HVAC systems; painting; and cleaning. All duties are performed in accordance with company policy and safety protocols to meet client expectations within the operating budget.

Pay: $21 - $24 / Hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner to ensure client objectives are met.
2. General Maintenance: Adhere to maintenance programs, conduct inspections, assist with groundskeeping, and serve as on-call emergency support.
3. Unit Turnover: Perform inspections, repairs, painting, appliance changes, and ensure timely completion of unit turnovers.
4. Equipment and Systems: Maintain property equipment, organize storage, secure parts, and wear required uniforms and tools.
5. Inspections: Prepare properties for inspections like NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, CALFHA, and collaborate with stakeholders.
6. Other Responsibilities: Enforce community rules, comply with laws, promote a professional image, and communicate effectively.

Minimum requirements include at least 1 year of relevant experience, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to wear a respirator, and proficiency in English. Technical skills include pool maintenance, painting, HVAC, electrical, drywall, appliance repair, and computer literacy. Certification in CAMT or technical school is preferred.
