Multifamily Property Management

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Duties include repairing flooring, drywall, appliances; troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, safety, security, HVAC systems; painting; and cleaning. All duties must comply with company policies and safety protocols, supporting client expectations within the operating budget and management agreement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client Relations: Carry out owner philosophies and ensure client expectations are met.
2. General Maintenance: Follow maintenance programs, conduct inspections, and serve as on-call emergency support.
3. Unit Turnover: Inspect and repair vacant apartments, coordinate painting and appliance replacements, ensure timely turnover completion.
4. Equipment and Systems: Maintain community equipment, secure parts and supplies, wear uniforms, and provide own tools.
5. Inspections: Prepare properties for various regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance with standards.
6. Other: Enforce community rules, comply with Fair Housing Laws, maintain professional communication, and uphold dress code.

Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of relevant experience, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to wear a respirator, proficiency in English, and possibly providing tools.

Skills Required: Pool maintenance, painting, landscaping, HVAC, electrical, drywall, boiler systems, appliance repair, and basic computer skills, among others.
