The Affordable Housing Intern will work alongside Empower Missouri's team to support advocacy, education, and organizing efforts aimed at expanding access to safe, affordable housing across the state. Our work focuses on advancing policies that protect tenants, increase housing stability, and address the systemic barriers that make housing unaffordable for many Missourians.
In this role, you'll contribute to community outreach, policy research, coalition-building, and public education efforts that support change at both the state and local level. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in housing justice, public policy, and grassroots advocacy.
We strongly encourage people who are currently tenants or who have lived experiences with unstable or unaffordable housing to apply.
