Job summary

Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Indianapolis is seeking a Program Officer, Housing and Real Estate Development to advance the city\'s housing strategy and support creation and preservation of affordable housing. You will manage the housing programs, oversee underwriting support, and collaborate with partners and LISC\'s Lending and Investment teams to move mission-aligned projects forward.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in affordable housing, real estate development, community development finance, urban planning, lending, nonprofit program management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage housing programs and real estate development initiatives, including grantmaking, partner support, and program monitoring.
• Identify and cultivate housing and real estate development lending opportunities aligned with mission and priorities.
• Coordinate with Lending, underwriting, legal, asset management, and investment teams to move deals through review, closing, and monitoring.
• Strengthen partner capacity, convene trainings, and build relationships with funders, agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and updates on program impact and housing activity.
