Premier Property Management is seeking an Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist to join our team in River Rouge. You will ensure properties comply with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8 and related programs, conducting file reviews and certifications.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in affordable housing compliance, strong attention to detail, and experience with property management software. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities for advancement in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in affordable housing compliance.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, Section 8 and related programs.
• Strong attention to detail and organized work style.
• Effective communication and ability to work with teams.
• Proficiency with property management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review resident files for LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 compliance.
• Monitor income certifications, leases and recertifications.
• Guide property teams on program regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with agencies on compliance inquiries.
• Prepare/submits required regulatory reports timely.
• Stay updated on regulation changes and adjust policies.
• Assist with training for staff on compliance requirements.
