Job summary

Greensboro Housing Authority in Greensboro, AL, seeks an Executive Director to lead and oversee its housing programs and daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication to work with officials, residents, and partners.

The Executive Director must demonstrate deep knowledge of affordable housing, development, and federal/state programs, with a track record in executive oversight in housing or community development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in housing management.
• Minimum of five years in a high-level administrative or operational oversight role in housing or community development.
• Experience leading housing programs and managing daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all housing programs and daily operations for the Authority.
• Collaborate with elected officials, public agencies, residents, and housing groups.
• Provide strategic direction on housing development and program management.
