The City of Aurora is seeking a Housing and Community Development Project Manager to plan, coordinate, administer, and monitor programs funded by CDBG, HOME, ESG, and related sources. You will serve as a project manager through all phases, ensuring compliance with federal and local requirements while coordinating with residents, contractors, nonprofits, consultants, and city departments.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of HUD/federal program experience, knowledge of HUD rules, and strong

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in HUD, Federal programs, CDBG, HOME, ESG programs.
• Preferred: Knowledge of HUD regulations and environmental review requirements.
• Experience with grant management and project administration.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and administer housing, commercial rehabilitation, and community development programs.
• Manage projects from application through closeout, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
• Review project eligibility and compliance with funding requirements.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and grant performance; prepare reports for HUD and partners.
