Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to become a part of our team! You will help plan and facilitate all real estate activities and transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Run daily work order reports (emergency, urgent, and routine checks).
  • Accept, arrange, and schedule work orders submitted by tenants following Yardi procedures.
  • Update all designated reports in a timely manner.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the property manager or in their absence.
  • Generate and close out work orders promptly following Yardi procedures.
  • Process all new tenant move-in paperwork as per Tenant Selection Plan and CHA waitlist.
  • Handle recertifications, including setting up interviews, assisting with forms, rent calculations, and lease preparations.
  • Respond promptly to resident/applicant requests via phone or email.
  • Show apartments to prospective tenants if applicable.
  • Conduct internal unit inspections as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management or related fields.
  • Knowledge of real estate contracts and leases.
  • Ability to build rapport with tenants.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
