Multifamily Property Management

The Assistant Community Director assists the Community Director with daily property operations and manages the asset to meet operational and financial goals. Responsibilities include supervising on-site staff such as Resident Services Coordinators, Leasing Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and others.

  • Driving a site-owned golf cart is required, necessitating a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver's License.

Pay: $27 - $29 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Client Relations: Implement owner philosophies and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Communication: Maintain professional communication with residents, vendors, and staff; keep supervisors informed.
  • Employee Management: Operate in the absence of the Community Director; train new team members.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels; execute leasing strategies; manage online marketing and resident retention.
  • Revenue Management: Maximize revenue through lease management, rent collection, and financial reporting.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain resident files, ensure compliance, and prepare reports.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee maintenance requests and monitor property conditions.
  • Other Responsibilities: Enforce community rules, adhere to laws and policies, and participate in training.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, USDA-Rural Development, etc.).
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Proficient in English and computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management software).
