We are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Affiliate Partnerships Manager to join our Network team - Is this your next opportunity?

We're looking for an individual to help power one of the largest deal-focused channels on YouTube (3M subscribers). The Affiliate Partnerships Manager will own, scale, and optimize the affiliate commerce revenue engine for one of our lead Creator channels. In this role, you will lead publisher-side affiliate strategy and day-to-day commercial relationship management, partnering directly with top-tier US retail merchants and affiliate networks. Working closely with the Content and Channel Management teams, you will be tasked with maximizing earnings via affiliate links/shopping features. You will be responsible for proactively negotiating bespoke commission increases, securing exclusive promotional codes and advance deal sheets for marquee shopping events (such as Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday), and aligning high-converting retail deals with our content calendar. You will collaborate closely with the Channel Manager and the content production team to integrate affiliate links seamlessly into video descriptions, community posts, and newsletters while maintaining audience trust and strict compliance.

HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME

Retailer partnership management and business development

• Manage and scale direct relationships with major US retail partners, (eg. Amazon and Walmart) alongside major affiliate networks (eg. Impact, CJ Affiliate, MagicLinks).
• Pitch and negotiate with retailers and networks to secure beneficial commission rates, hybrid campaign fees, performance bonuses, exclusive merchant coupon codes, and curated landing pages to drive maximum revenue yield.
• Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for brand affiliate managers, affiliate PR reps, and network account teams.

Affiliate strategy and operations

• Own and execute the commercial affiliate playbook for the Creator channel, including around major retail tentpole events such as Amazon Prime Day, Fall Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Q4 holiday shopping.
• Regularly liaise with merchant partner contacts (including well in advance of tentpole dates) to secure embargoed deal sheets, early bird promotions, high-tier commission incentives, and guaranteed exclusive promotional codes.
• Coordinate with content and channel production leads to plan timely content releases that capitalize on real-time flash sales and lightning deals.

Product curation and link operations

• Curate commercially compelling, high-converting product selections tailored to the audience's interests, seasonal trends, and upcoming video releases.
• Coordinate with the Channel Management team to supply optimized affiliate tracking links, promotional copy, and call-to-action (CTA) text for video descriptions, pinned comments, newsletters, and social channels.
• Manage smart-link routing and redirection platforms (e.g., Geniuslink) to ensure multi-retailer fallback logic, global geo-targeting, and rapid resolution of out-of-stock items or broken URLs.

Performance analytics and compliance

• Maintain tracking structures to attribute revenue, clicks, and conversion by video, placement type, product category, and distribution channel.
• Monitor and report on core performance indicators and run regular A/B testing on channel output to improve performance
• Ensure that 100% of affiliate placements and promotional messaging strictly adhere to FTC disclosure regulations, merchant operating terms, and host platform community policies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

• Proficiency across major affiliate networks including Amazon Associates, Impact, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, ShareASale, PartnerStack, Commission Juncture and MagicLinks
• Direct US retailer relationships, particularly with Amazon and Walmart.
• Expertise in smart-link and redirection tools (e.g., Geniuslink, Pretty Links) for link localization, dynamic routing, and out-of-stock monitoring.
• Strong communication and deal-making skills to pitch brands for direct affiliate partnerships and higher commission splits.
• Ability to analyze user behavior and craft effective call-to-action (CTA) copy that drives click-throughs without compromising audience trust.
• Understanding of how affiliate strategies differ across long-form YouTube videos, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels to optimize click-through rates per platform format.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel to track and monitor affiliate link performance.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with our legal and compliance team to ensure FTC and regulatory compliance at all times.

• Experience of managing publisher-side affiliate partnerships and operations at a deal site or media company
• Demonstrable experience managing high-volume link publishing with high accuracy and zero tolerance for broken or incorrect URLs
• Experience building and maintaining affiliate tracking structures that attribute revenue by content, video and placement using Sub IDs/tracking parameters, including identifying tracking discrepancies, reversals and underperforming programs
• Proven track record of successfully pitching and negotiating direct affiliate split increases or custom rates with brands
• Hands-on experience leveraging native video shopping tools (YouTube Shopping or TikTok Shop) (bonus)
• Experience working directly with content or production teams in a fast-paced YouTube or creator-led publishing environment (bonus)
