About the Role:

The AF Solutions Clinical Specialist II will promote and support the Watchman product line through education of current and potential customers within a defined area. This role involves providing clinical education, sales strategy, and support to achieve or exceed sales goals and increase revenues within assigned product lines. The specialist will collaborate with a dynamic team to build the Watchman brand in the territory.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products via presentations and demonstrations across various formats and platforms.
  • Meet with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, hospital staff) by traveling to identify their clinical needs and demonstrate how company products can support their goals.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel at all levels to facilitate sales and identify key decision-makers.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with related personnel.
  • Provide guidance to exempt specialists and supervisory staff exercising independence in their assignments.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute fully to organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrate effective change leadership and build strategic partnerships within the organization.
  • Assist management in recruiting and coaching organizational talent.
  • Implement and monitor strategies outlined in the quarterly plan, supporting market development and product launches.
  • Coordinate efforts with sales management to build strategic partnerships.
  • Develop relationships with key physicians and external partners to promote growth.
  • Work with sales management to identify strategic initiatives for improvement.
  • Support coverage through on-call duties as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of clinical trial protocols and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage clinical trial activities within the territory, including visits and investigator education.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in Structural Heart/Atrial Fibrillation preferred.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to explain complex product information.
  • MS or advanced degree in business or healthcare.

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 to $85,000, plus variable incentives and benefits, with actual compensation based on experience and qualifications.
