About the Role:

The AF Solutions Clinical Specialist II will promote and support the Watchman product line by educating current and potential customers within a designated area. This role involves clinical education, sales strategy, and support to help achieve or surpass sales goals and increase revenue. The specialist will work closely with a dynamic team to build the Watchman brand in the assigned territory.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Educating customers on the clinical benefits and proper usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations across various formats and platforms.
  2. Meeting with existing and potential clients, including physicians and hospital staff, to assess their clinical needs and demonstrate how company products can support their patient care goals.
  3. Developing relationships with hospital personnel at all levels to facilitate sales and identify key decision-makers.
  4. Responding to customer needs and complaints by developing and coordinating effective solutions.
  5. Providing guidance to exempt specialists and supervisory staff exercising significant independence.
  6. Promoting a diverse workplace that enables all team members to contribute fully to organizational objectives.
  7. Building strategic partnerships through effective change leadership and collaboration across departments.
  8. Supporting management in recruiting and coaching talent, demonstrating leadership in change initiatives.
  9. Implementing strategies from the quarterly plan to support market development and product launches.
  10. Coordinating efforts with sales management to build strategic partnerships that align with organizational goals.
  11. Developing relationships with key physicians and external partners to foster market growth.
  12. Proactively identifying strategic initiatives to enhance area effectiveness.
  13. Supporting coverage through on-call duties as needed.
  14. Maintaining knowledge of clinical trial protocols and regulatory compliance to meet corporate objectives.
  15. Managing clinical trial activities within the territory, including site visits and investigator education.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in Structural Heart or Atrial Fibrillation is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex products.
  • MS or higher degree in business or healthcare is advantageous.

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 to $85,000, plus variable incentives based on performance, along with comprehensive benefits. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
