Job Description - Aesthetician/Massage Therapist - Dual License - Conrad Los Angeles (HOT0BO2O)

Join the newest luxury hotel in downtown LA, Conrad Los Angeles, as an Aesthetician/Massage Therapist with a dual license. Located at 100 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012, this role offers the opportunity to work in a premier setting within The Grand LA project, the seventh Conrad Hotel in the U.S. and the first in California.

Conrad Los Angeles features over 300 rooms, a world-class spa, a 16,000 sq. ft. rooftop pool deck, 12,000 sq. ft. of event space, and three dining options, including San Laurel, in partnership with Chef Jose Andres' award-winning group.

As a part of our team, you will perform massages, facials, waxing, and body treatments, providing outstanding guest service. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in massage therapy or resort spa, with certifications in shiatsu and Thai massage preferred. Previous customer service experience is also desirable.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, ensuring cleanliness, keeping records per regulations (California Massage License and/or Board of Barbering and Cosmetology license), responding to guest requests, and supporting general spa duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform massages, facials, waxing, and body treatments.
• Manage inventory and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Maintain required records according to regulations.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with general spa duties as needed.
• Participate in training and provide aftercare recommendations.
• Support Spa Director and team with projects.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Minimum 2 years experience in massage therapy or resort spa.
• Valid California Massage License and/or Board of Barbering and Cosmetology license.
• Certifications in shiatsu and Thai massage preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
