Raffles Boston is seeking an experienced esthetician to provide facial and waxing treatments in a luxury spa setting. You will perform skin analysis, assess contraindications, and tailor skincare plans for guests' needs.
Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining cleanliness, upselling spa services, and upholding brand standards while ensuring guest privacy and satisfaction.

Provide facial and waxing treatments to guests.
Perform skin analysis, inquire about contraindications and assess skincare needs prior to commencing treatment.
Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, and other spa areas as requested by guests.
Prepare treatment room and work areas at the beginning of each shift.
Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift, sanitize and properly store tools and equipment at the end of each shift.
Promote and upsell treatments and retail suited to guest needs.
Keep up to date with current techniques and modalities related to the field of work.
Periodically ascertain guest comfort, safety and privacy throughout the service. Direct all efforts toward guest satisfaction.
Handle guest incidents in accordance with Raffles Standard Operating Procedures, and informing supervisor/manager.
Report any treatment room defects to spa management to ensure prompt follow up.
Maintain current skills and license in specialized area per state requirements.
Ensure uniform and appearance is tidy and professional, in line with grooming standards
Adhere to all Raffles Brand Standards, department procedures and spa service standards.
Education & Experience:
Must possess current and valid license as an aesthetician in state of employment.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury spa environment.
Skilled and proficient in providing skin analysis and spa treatment equipment.
Physical requirements:
Flexible hours required.
Stand for an extended period of time, manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
General Requirements:

Sound understanding of spa and wellness.
Able to communicate clearly and professionally among team members and towards guests.
