Forefront Dermatology in Arlington, VA is seeking an Aesthetician to perform cosmetic consultations and treatments, educate patients, and promote cosmetic services and products. You will schedule treatments, provide aftercare instructions, and coordinate with physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The ideal candidate has an accredited esthetician program and 1+ year experience in a medical setting, with strong computer skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited esthetician program or commensurate experience.
• 1+ years of related experience in a medical office or spa setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer functions and keyboarding is required.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and operate standard office equipment is required.
• Ability to understand physician’s instructions and know when to seek additional information or clarification is required.
• Demonstrates professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Ability to display a friendly cheerful, tactful and polite demeanor and compassionate caring in dealing with others is required.

Summary

The Aesthetician performs, explains, and schedules cosmetic procedures, consults, and treatment regimens regarding select treatments available at Forefront Dermatology. This position actively promotes/sells cosmetic products, pricing, and services. Actively promotes/sells cosmetic products and services. Performs, explains, and schedules select cosmetic consults and treatments per protocols. Provide appropriate patient education and after care instructions. Provide recommendations for cosmetic service enhancements and implements approved plans within specified timeframes. Assist with development of advertising and promotional materials.
