OVME is seeking a skilled Aesthetic Practitioner in Houston, TX, to provide non-surgical cosmetic injections and related aesthetic services. You will work under the Studio Manager in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Required: 2+ years injecting experience and current NP or PA license; ability to work 1-2 Saturdays per month; strong communication and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years injecting experience.
• Current license as NP or PA.
• Ability to work 1-2 Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations to assess aesthetic concerns and medical history.
• Perform Botox/neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, and related treatments per protocol.
• Administer injections with attention to facial anatomy, dosage, and safety.
• Stay current on cosmetic injectables, techniques, and trends.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and document progress/adverse events.
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Medical Aestheticians on treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and infection control.

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aesthetic Practitioner to join OVME. As an Aesthetic Practitioner, you will be responsible for performing a variety of non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, and other aesthetic treatments. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a pivotal role in helping our clients enhance their natural beauty and achieve their desired aesthetic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with clients to understand their aesthetic concerns, desired outcomes, and medical history, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Perform cosmetic injectable treatments, such as Botox/neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other wrinkle-reducing procedures, in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Administer injections accurately, considering facial anatomy, symmetry, and proper dosage to achieve optimal results while minimizing risks and side effects.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in cosmetic injectables, techniques, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any adverse reactions or complications that may arise.
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions, potential side effects, and expected outcomes, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the procedure.
• Collaborate with Medical Aestheticians to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and regulatory standards, including infection control, product storage, and disposal procedures.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality while interacting with clients and maintaining a safe and comfortable treatment environment.
• Continuously pursue professional development and training opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in the field of cosmetic injectables.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise

Education / Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of injecting experience.
• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate.
• Ability to work 1-2 Saturdays per month.
