Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider in Lewiston, Maine. The APP will collaborate with the plastic surgeon and team to guide patients from consultation through postoperative follow-up, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, interest in aesthetic medicine, and a commitment to excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the applicable state.
• National certification as an NP or PA.
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by the practice.
• Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, aesthetics, or related field preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented cosmetic practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and medical histories for cosmetic procedures.
• Evaluate patients and assist with treatment options with the plastic surgeon.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care, wound assessment, and follow-up.
• Assist with office-based procedures and patient education on risks and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate with the care team.
• Maintain a safe, organized clinical environment and address complications.
