Job summary

MedSquirrels, Inc. is seeking an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner in Virginia. The NP will independently assess patients, craft personalized treatment plans, and perform aesthetic procedures with a focus on safety and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include facial assessments, injectable treatments (Botox, dermal fillers), and regenerative therapies, with emphasis on documentation and complication management. A strong knowledge of facial anatomy is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license.
• National Nurse Practitioner certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of aesthetic medicine experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Botox and dermal filler administration.
• Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and injection safety.
• Experience managing aesthetic treatment complications and vascular occlusion.
• Strong patient consultation, communication, and treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent documentation and clinical decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and facial assessments.
• Evaluate patients for treatment candidacy, contraindications, and appropriate procedures.
• Develop individualized aesthetic treatment plans.
• Perform injectable treatments including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify, and dermal fillers.
• Perform lip enhancement, facial balancing, cheek, chin, jawline, temple, and tear trough treatments.
• Perform PRP, PRF, EZ Gel, bio-stimulatory, hair restoration, and regenerative treatments.
• Perform microneedling, RF microneedling, Morpheus8, Scarlet RF, and combination therapies.
• Perform or assist with laser treatments, IPL, skin rejuvenation, and other aesthetic procedures.
• Provide HydraFacial, medical-grade facials, chemical peels, acne treatments, and skincare consultations.
• Obtain informed consent and provide pre- and post-treatment education.
• Capture and maintain before-and-after treatment photographs.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and treatment records.
• Recognize and manage complications, including vascular occlusion and allergic reactions.
• Maintain emergency preparedness and follow appropriate safety and infection-control protocols.
• Participate in treatment planning, clinical protocol development, and staff education.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical directors, RNs, estheticians, and administrative staff.
• Maintain excellent patient satisfaction, retention, and professional standards.
