Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (NP) with hands‑on experience in aesthetic medicine. The NP will independently evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, perform aesthetic procedures, manage complications, and provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and facial assessments.
- Evaluate patients for treatment candidacy, contraindications, and appropriate procedures.
- Develop individualized aesthetic treatment plans.
- Perform injectable treatments including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify, and dermal fillers.
- Perform lip enhancement, facial balancing, cheek, chin, jawline, temple, and tear trough treatments.
- Perform PRP, PRF, EZ Gel, bio‑stimulatory, hair restoration, and regenerative treatments.
- Perform microneedling, RF microneedling, Morpheus8, Scarlet RF, and combination therapies.
- Perform or assist with laser treatments, IPL, skin rejuvenation, and other aesthetic procedures.
- Provide HydraFacial, medical‑grade facials, chemical peels, acne treatments, and skincare consultations.
- Obtain informed consent and provide pre‑and post‑treatment education.
- Capture and maintain before‑and‑after treatment photographs.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and treatment records.
- Recognize and manage complications, including vascular occlusion and allergic reactions.
- Maintain emergency preparedness and follow appropriate safety and infection‑control protocols.
- Participate in treatment planning, clinical protocol development, and staff education.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical directors, RNs, estheticians, and administrative staff.
- Maintain excellent patient satisfaction, retention, and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license.
- National Nurse Practitioner certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of aesthetic medicine experience preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with Botox and dermal filler administration.
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and injection safety.
- Experience managing aesthetic treatment complications and vascular occlusion.
- Strong patient consultation, communication, and treatment‑planning skills.
- Excellent documentation and clinical decision‑making abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- DEA registration.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with PRP, PRF, EZ Gel, and regenerative treatments.
- Experience with Morpheus8, HydraFacial, Candela, Cynosure, Alma, or Lutronic devices.
- Experience with aesthetic EMR systems such as AestheticPro, Nextech, Zenoti, or equivalent.
- Experience with IV hydration and wellness services.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating injectable aesthetic results.
- Interest in leadership, staff education, and professional development.
