A dermatology practice in Northeast Ohio is seeking a full-time Aesthetic Injector Nurse. This role involves performing aesthetic treatments such as chemical peels and microneedling while ensuring exceptional patient care and education. Candidates must possess a current Ohio RN license and have 2-3 years of aesthetic injectable experience. Qualifications

• Current Ohio Registered Nurse License required.
• At least 2 years of aesthetic injectable experience needed.
• Must maintain yearly Continuing Education.
• Continued Education yearly and stay current on product lines & services.

Responsibilities

• Administers aesthetic treatments based on company policies.
• Educates patients on treatment processes.
• Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Educate patients on treatments and skincare regimens.
• Document charting and clinical notes for each patient.
• Maintain professional appearance and adherance to dress code.
• Participate in in-house trainings and cosmetic events.
• Monitor inventory and notify when stock is low.
• Ensure treatment room cleanliness between patients.
• Establish rapport to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Assist with clinical procedures as needed.
• Ensure patient safety during treatments.

Overview

Apex Skin is seeking a full-time Aesthetic Injector Nurse at one of our eleven locations throughout Northeast Ohio. This role involves performing a variety of aesthetic treatments including chemical peels, Cool Sculpting, microneedling, and injections. The position supports delivering an exceptional patient experience and education, with a focus on prompt access to care.

Primary duties

• Maintains patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy
• Administers treatments in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Able to perform a variety of aesthetic treatments including, but not limited to chemical peels, CoolSculpting, microneedling, and injections
• Recommends various treatments and skin regimens based on patient consultation
• Pursue opportunities to educate patients on additional treatments and services
• Educate patients on all treatment processes including pre and post treatment care guidelines
• Detailed in their charting and clinical documentation of each patient
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances quality of service and care offered to patients
• Maintains a professional and neat appearance that adheres to the company dress code
• Attends in house trainings and assists with company cosmetic events
• Assists with maintaining appropriate inventory levels and notifies management when inventory is low
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms in between each patient
• Establish and maintain rapport with patients in order to ensure patient satisfaction
• Assists with clinical procedures as needed
• Ensure safety of patients at all times when performing treatments

Essential skills and abilities

• Knowledgeable of various aesthetic services and skin care products
• Must have sound judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of current trends and aesthetic treatments

Education and experience

• Current Ohio Registered Nurse License
• Must have 2-3 years of Aesthetic injectable experience
• Proficient with personal computers and contemporary software programs (MS Office, Excel, etc.)
• Must maintain yearly Continued Education and stay current on product lines & services
