Job summary

OVME Aesthetics in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an experienced Aesthetic Practitioner to join a new location, helping build a client base and establish OVME locally. You’ll provide personalized cosmetic injections, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers, with a focus on natural-looking results.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years injecting experience, current NP or PA credentials, and availability to work 1–2 Saturdays per month.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of injecting experience.
• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate.
• Ability to work 1-2 Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with clients to understand their aesthetic concerns, desired outcomes, and medical history.
• Perform cosmetic injectable treatments, such as Botox/neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other wrinkle-reducing procedures, in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Administer injections accurately, considering facial anatomy, symmetry, and proper dosage to achieve optimal results while minimizing risks and side effects.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in cosmetic injectables, techniques, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any adverse reactions or complications that may arise.
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions, potential side effects, and expected outcomes, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the procedure.
• Collaborate with Medical Aestheticians to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and regulatory standards, including infection control, product storage, and disposal procedures.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality while interacting with clients and maintaining a safe and comfortable treatment environment.
• Continuously pursue professional development and training opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in the field of cosmetic injectables.
